Time To MarketOur platform has been created using the distributed architecture paradigm; components required for a tailored program can be assembled quickly and seamlessly. The architecture is multi-tiered so that only the front-end specific components need to be changed and the rest of the content can be added quickly. We also work with partners for points engine, credit card gateway, CRM solution and certain other components, so that the assembly time with these partners is a matter of configuration. Unless the new program involves the development of specific interfaces, we can go live in as few as 90 days from contract finalization. Constant off-site data back-up ensures that the reward solution is up 24x7 and available around 99%.
ScalabilityThe technical architecture is very lightweight. Scaling horizontally and vertically is easy and simply a case of adding a servlet engine under load balanced set-up, or adding hardware. The different tiers are separated so that any of the web, business or data tiers can be scaled up independently. The application has been load tested for concurrency. By working on Solaris and Oracle we ensure that the application stability is not limited by software that we host.
SecurityWe make client data and application security a priority concern. This is evident in the security environment we have established for all aspects of Loylogic IT services. A DMZ (and a backup) sits in front of the web servers. Additionally, a private DMZ sits in front of the database servers. The whole network is located in Zurich, outsourced to the hosting provider certified for banking solutions. This vendor provides a fail-safe, earthquake proof and explosion-safe location with high security standards for data and server protection. The access rights to the application are protected via tightly controlled ACS. Any protected information in our website goes through 128-bit SSL encryption. Credit card transactions are implemented via secured transaction using data encryption.
RedundancyBy load balancing and session replication across servers, we ensure that a user’s session is never lost - even if a server goes down. This is also the case for servlet engines and the database. The database is backed-up at regular frequency, along with offsite transportation of data.
Compliancy
The front end is W3C compliant. This means that the application supports multiple browsers as well as multiple channels such as web and mobile, if that’s what your business needs. The code in general is platform independent; as a principle we avoid proprietary code that is not portable. In addition, the platform is designed for multi-lingual support. Languages are added as you need them.
